Liverpool 08 is the official website of Liverpool European Capital Of Culture 2008. This weekend saw a musical feast of concerts and an experimental musical featuring Ringo Starr, Echo & The Bunnymen, Pete Wiley, Shack and The Wombats. The event has divided critics but silenced many of the predictable jokes and highly outdated cliches about the transformed city. The big question I have is: Where is Paul McCartney??? I know it's not a Beatles reunion but the band defined the sound of the city for many decades...
